A few records finished, a lot of gear maintenance, and a new custom built 18w guitar amp -- voxish output with plenty of gain on tap in a very simple circuit; it's that magical combination of fat drive and clarity... one of those "THAT'S IT" sounds. Ryan just returned from a few weeks in the U.K. with Rancid, where he worked on a BUNCH of the Tim Timebomb recordings. Have you heard them yet? If not, get your ass over to the Tim Timebomb and Friends site and get caught up. Tim Armstrong, a select few producers (including Cleveland Audio's Ryan Foltz) and a wide variety of musicians (including several Cleveland notables), are posting a song a day indefinitely. After the flood damage we experienced last October, Cleveland Audio is all cleaned up, fixed up and back up and running, thanks to great insurance through Farmer's (and NO thanks at all to Cleveland Division of Water).
